I am very new to the not-so-new crypto-currency world. I listened to a millennium who guided and educated me on crypto-currencies. I finally gained the courage to make transactions on my own and attempted to move BTC from my Coinbase account to my Poloniex account. I know you may think this to be an easy transfer however I somehow managed to flub it up. I'm still not completely sure what I did wrong but the money was not sent to the address I intended, and the money was no longer in my account :( My millennium told me I sent the BTC to someone's unknown account. I submitted a to help ticket to Poloniex and posted in the Poloniex chat room. - while I hope this never happens to you, millennium told me to NOT post this in the chat as someone can locate the BTC if the address I sent BTC to was not registered.- I waited for four months and I assumed the BTC was gone and would not be sent back or retrieved. There are angels in this crypto world. You may know one, you may be one, you may have met one and I hope you have. I had blessed the BTC and let it go then the unexpected happened. I received an email from Poloniex and the support team stated I had put the money into my FLDC and he was able to find it!! He put the money back in the account and apologized for the time lapse in responding! I emailed the Poloniex tech back and asked if I could buy him/her a gift card as a thank you gesture the response I received is the following:
