Idol group BTS has stolen the hearts of every ARMY around the world, but what does it take to steal the hearts of the Bangtan Boys?
BTS members have spoken about their Miss Right several times (and quite concretely too). Every time they do, we can't help our hearts fluttering at the chance that we might match the girl of their dreams.
Here's VoomVoom to tell you all about it.
First up is Jimin.
The common saying goes that opposites attract, but Jimin seems to be an exception to the rule. Here's how ARMY reacted upon hearing about Jimin's very own Miss Right.
Having debuted as a 19-year-old in 2013, Jimin had stated his ideal type. "I like cute stuff. I fall for weird things. I fall for cute and weird."
Surprisingly, that's what fans love about Jimin. Seeing as how he's the cute one of the group, ARMYs say that "Jimin likes someone exactly like him."
You're not that cute, yet you still like Jimin? Don't worry, there's still hope. Jimin has mentioned his dream girl several times later as well. Once he said "I'm not sure about my type of girl. I haven't met a lot of girls. I would like for anyone to approach me. Just come to me!"
And he also said "I don't think I have a type. I seem to have a certain feature I like, but I'm not so sure yet. So far, having a good personality is the most important thing for me."
Second in line is Jungkook.
ARMYs well know Jungkook's dream girl (and his longtime idol) - IU. IU, a superstar in Korea, has snow-white skin, a fragile, paper-thin body, and shouts Disney Princess Belle all over, both being intellectual and so poised all the time.
Jungkook once plainly stated his type. "Should be smart and know stuff," "should have long hair and snow-white skin." Well, this just seems like a description of IU.
You're not a paper-thin, fragile person? Don't be disappointed just yet. Later Jungkook emphasizes that his ideal type should look 'healthy.'
Apparently, Jungkook added the following: "should look healthy, with enough muscles," "with a body that screams that one exercises regularly."
Jungkook also added to the list "should be nice," "a good cook, a good supporter."
What does the dream girl wear? Or what would he like her to wear? He hints that one should be able to pull off a skirt as well as a man's shirt in white (probably his).
All in all, Jungkook's Miss Right seems to be Miss Perfect in every sense. He looks like a tough one to please, but should you try hard to befit the girl of his dreams, you might find an unbelievably stunning person looking right back at you in the mirror!
Third in line is J-Hope.
For someone with a "hope"ful name, fans are not so hopeful upon hearing about his ideal type. Who's the girl that J-Hope envisions in his dreams? First and foremost, J-hope likes a girl who knows how to cook.
He doesn't say much about what his dream girl should look like. He does say that he likes long, straight hair on women (as every other guy does) and he prefers his type to dress in a "feminine style, like a dress." But he did add that he does not like a woman in heels.
What you wear is what you are. J-Hope says he wants someone "not too flashy, and from time to time, a hint of sporty," and accentuated that he does not like someone that is "too much, too flamboyant."
He probably prefers a calm, girl-next-door type. But what J-Hope considers most important is one's personality. J-Hope stated "I like a girl with a nice personality," and added "someone thoughtful, who supports (him), who doesn't hold grudges, someone with "aegyo," and someone positive and bubbly."
J-Hope seems to someone who's both considerate and can see the silver lining in a gray cloud.
By saying that he wants 'someone who can support him,' J-Hope probably wants someone who can handle his emotional turbulence. And simultaneously he wants the girl not to hold a grudge. He wants the whole package. You can see why fans lost hope upon hearing about J-Hope's Miss Right, right?
The fourth is Suga.
We all dream of sitting side-by-side with our dates doing together what we love. Suga's not so different. Suga states his type as someone who shares his interests, and elaborates that he likes "someone into music, someone into hip-hop."
But here's something peculiar. Whereas people who like hip-hop also enjoy going clubbing, Suga puts his foot down and says no to clubs. He says that "I like girls who like hip-hop but doesn't like clubs." He adds to his wishes "girls who wear expensive headphones," repeatedly showing his desires to meet someone with a thing for music.
In terms of appearance, Suga likes someone sexy. I guess that means he would choose sophisticated over cute. He says his dream girl would dress in "a white, boxy T-shirt with black leggings or skinny jeans." His dream girl should probably be someone who doesn't dress up that much but has beautiful legs.
Could you be Suga's type? Suga, describing his Miss Right very concretely, seems to be very resolute in finding his exact type. If you're anywhere near Suga's descriptions, perhaps a romance lies in your future.
Fifth in line is RM.
RM accentuated that he "really looks for the personality and figure." Notice how he said he "really looks for" instead of simply stating that he looks for specific traits in a woman? Personality and figure really must be important to him.
A keyword he uses to describe his ideal type is the word 'sexy.' Describing his dream girl as "sexy," he notes that "her brain has to be sexy as well." In Korea, the phrase is used to describe someone intellectual who can think maturely.
In terms of how he would like his dream girl to dress, he states "jeans, white T-shirt, and red converse high tops." As to why, he explained that "I like the revealed ankle lines of someone wearing converse high tops.'
RM also states that he likes someone with white skin and a beautiful voice, as well as someone who gives off a sophisticated vibe. He adds that so far, he likes someone of the same age or older, as opposed to someone younger than him.
What should we do to charm RM, a smart one with an IQ of 148? It seems like one would need a hot, curvy body as well as be an intellectual. Boy, do the Bangtan boys look for the whole package.
Up for sixth is Jin.
Who does the Worldwide Handsome envision in his dreams?
Jin says that he likes someone who "can cook, care [for him], who has a kind and sweet nature." What about in terms of looks? He says he likes a 'puppy' face rather than a 'kitty.'
What would his dream girl dress like? Jin says that likes someone wearing a boxy top. To be specific, he probably likes someone wearing an over-sized T-shirt or a sweater, and a bottom that reveals one's legs, like tight skinny jeans.
You can't really put a finger on Jin's Miss Right, especially compared to other members. Perhaps he hasn't really thought about his type, or maybe he doesn't have much experience with girls?
Well, at least there's something unusual about his type. Jin says he likes someone "who's plus-sized and cute." Considering that a lot of guys don't say out loud that they like plus-size girls, you could say that Jin yearns for an extraordinary trait. And the key to Jin's heart seems to be "cute." He says that "he likes a cute, sophisticated type," "likes cute sneakers rather than heels, wearing glasses and one or two bracelets," "she has to match her age, I don't like too much cute."
If you're a "cute" type of girl, then perhaps a future with Jin is in store for you. Jin doesn't seem to have a concrete type, so why not put on a boxy T-shirt and bring out your cute charms.
Last one up is the most beautiful face of 2017, V.
Topping film critic TC Candler's list of the '100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2017,' you would think he would have standards as high as his rank in the list, giving chance to only those befitting his title as the most handsome guy on earth.
In a previous interview, V stated, "I'm not the kind to think things over - I'm a bit spontaneous." He seems to hold up the universal "opposites attract" theory, as he says "I like a woman who is considerate and thoughtful, who thinks things through. My ideal girl is someone who can overlook and cover up my mistakes and take care of me."
In terms of appearance, he specifically mentions the English actress Kaya Scodelario as his type. He also adds the following traits. His girl should be "long-haired, with a cool, carefree attitude yet have a warm, kind personality."
She should also be "someone who knows how hard I work to put money on the table" and therefore "thrifty, who doesn't let a dime go to waste."
It seems like he's asking for the whole package, right? But don't give up just yet. RM hints that V's Miss Right changes all the time. Thanks to V's indecisiveness, if you're lucky, V might just fall head over heels in love with you.
