I am still opening my advent calendar from Sophie and Toffee. If you guys are not aware, I love resin crafting. In fact, I just love crafting- period.
So. before I try to experiment with anything, I decided to share with you how I learn to create my crafts.
I have always been self taught and, every inch of my journey, every mistake that I make, every disappointment that I encounter had brought me to where I am now.
So here's what I did.
I used my UV resin to fill in the mold. I did not use any color initially because I want to understand how it looks like in its "original" state. No colors, no decorations, just the plain shape.
Then I shaved a bit of pink pastel- because I want to know how it reacts with elements not usually used in my crafting- it did a great job!
Since there are "holes" on the mold, I understand that I will be able to insert a piece of metal findings to make the thing rotate.
At this point, I just want to know how it looks so, I just glued a resin on the parts to assemble them.
I have something that looks like this.
I am still trying to decide what I am going to do but, as of this moment, everything is "experimental."
See you on my next "experiment."
