If you haven't heard, we at are very active at blacklisting plagiarists, spammers, scams, frauds, and other forms of abuse. While everyone says Bid Bots are the problem on Steem and they reward shit content, I go out of my way to prevent this.
Every few days I put out an update for our Blacklist which includes new members to our exclusive club.

I also frequently uncover large spam networks consisting of as many as 100 accounts creating spam and plagiarism. In the past, this was more of a quiet, behind the scenes project. In the past few months, I have made my efforts very public so it is known we do not encourage this content.
If you haven't already, come check out our daily Curation Digest where we dig through the hundreds of posts submitted to daily and find our five favorites to feature in our manual curation. We have been doing this for almost 8 months now, Monday through Friday publishing without stop. This is part of our efforts to encourage quality content and discourage garbage.
Which brings me to the point of this post, a very effective ad by a movie theatre that does things a little different. It reminds me of the flags and messages I receive when blacklisting a spammer or plagiarist.
Unfortunately, there isn't an Alamo Drafthouse in my area nor do I drink beer. I've always heard good things about them. I don't go to theatres as much lately but still a huge movie buff.
But not everyone will be happy...
If you want to support better content, come check out our daily Curation Digests, check out other curation projects like and show them some love.
