Still Standing Tall

Growing up one remembered when we were little and during our visits to the village before my dad built his own house we used to stay in Grandpa's 5 bedroom cottage,the toilets was not even inbuilt into the ancient building we had to use a pit latrine built outside the building even at nights.
The house still remains solid despite the decades of weathering especially the intense heat of the tropics,some people say in the good old days better and solid materials were used for construction down here,I seem to concur with them.
