This announcement is the first of its kind. BuildTeam would like to officially announce that we are about to begin taking bids for our monthly pot.

The August 2017 BuildToken General Fund is :

2100 Steem

The bidding will open at 00:00 UTC August, 3rd 2017 and it will close at 23:59 UTC on August 6th, 2017.

To make your bids and to be entitled to a percentage of the total monthly fund please find instructions posted below.

Step One

If you don't have a Bitshares wallet, create one here: https://bitshares.openledger.info/?r=buildteam

Also, consider downloading the Bitshares desktop wallet for a more secure way to transact. The wallet can be downloaded here: https://bitshares.org/download/

Step Two

Fund your Bitshares DEX account with an approved cryptocurrency. In addition to Bitshares, BTC, DASH and many other tokens are accepted as well. (If you are already a BUILDTEAM token holder and have sufficient BTS for transaction fees, skip to Step Four)

Step Three

Click on the following link to go directly to the BuildTeam exchange on Bitshares DEX:

Use the 'Buy' panel to purchase the desired quantity of BuildTeam tokens.

Step Four

After the bidding process has begun, make your bid by clicking on the 'Send' tab in the top right corner of the exchange window.

It will take you to the screen below:

Send the quantity of BuildTeam Tokens you would like to bid and place your Steemit account name in the 'MEMO' field. Remember to keep BTS tokens in your account and select them for the transfer fee option as it is a much cheaper way to transact.

Additional bids can be made following these same instructions up until the deadline period.

Conclusion

BuildTeam is proud to present you with this opportunity to share in our growth. We want this process to be as transparent as possible. You will need to review the bids and make your own calculations as to the profitability of bids each month. You can see current bids in this google sheet but be aware that we fill this in manually. In addition you can see latest transfers on cryptofresh. Make sure you research the bids made and the quantity of Steem offered in the monthly pot before making your bids.

UPDATE: Cryptofresh seems to be down at the moment. An alternate way to check bids live is to use the OpenLedger website to view buildteam account history. If you use the desktop client, simply click the cog icon -> explore -> accounts, enter buildteam and click the account name to view the latest transactions.
