It is just so cruel and unfair if I think about the fact, that although a calf would naturally suckle from his or her mother for nine months to a year, these precious and helpless babies are taken away from their mothers within two days from birth !!
This was exactly what had happened to Fridolin & Felix, they were separated in a tiny outside cage and waited for the abattoir to fetch them {veal}. We released them from their fate, when they were three respectively five days old.
These two fellas were made to orphans, because of Human Greed For Profit-so more I think about it so more it is just disgusting!
All this cruelty is happening, so that the humans can drink the milk that was meant to nourish the calves.
A strong bond is formed between cow and her calf in the first hours after birth, and because of these horrible interfering by humans, the mother cow and her calves are getting separated and this is obviously very traumatic for both of them - it is just so horrific, what humans do to animals.
The diary cow will be re-impregnated two or three months after the calf is removed from her and forced to endure this kind of emotional suffering again and again - Her Entire Life!
Actually one of my daughters told me all of this long time ago, but only lately I realized that it so important to really comprehend this issue and to make an effort to avoid dairy products in general.
We all have to think about the above, when we pour the next time milk into the coffee or into the bowl with cereals.
There are healthy diary-free alternatives available, for example Almond Milk, Rice Milk and my favorite Coconut Milk...so that you can be sure, that no cow has to suffer because of our ignorance.
