I run a small family company. I’m so fucking sick of being held to a higher standard than fortune 500 companies.
I switched internet and phones to Optimum. Took 30 days for them to finally admit their stupid phone system couldn’t work like Comcast and Verizon did and that I had to change methods if I actually wanted voicemail. 30 fucking days. It took 4 calls for them to tell me I had to dial *86 just to activate voicemail. They kept sending me to their website. You know what would happen if I pulled that shit with a customer?
It’s no different than when I walk into Walmart or any other big box place and get absolute dogshit service.
Absolutely fucking hate that double standard. I’ve got a tiny fraction of the resources and yet if you don’t answer by the 3rd ring somehow you’re unfit to run a business.
RE: People employed by huge corporations, what’s a "secret" the company wants under wraps, even though basically everyone inside already knows it?
