Presentation

Heeeey, this burger actually looks good! Of course, like the previous burger, the real deal doesn't do its photo ad justice. But hey, fast food. So you get the burger in Big Mac style, complete with the box that the latter usually comes in. Opening the box up reveals something that's actually pretty mouthwatering. Cheese, Vegetables, and Toppings

Diving right into the cow pen, this burger is delightful in having the best of both worlds: the crisp crackle of the fish patty topped with lettuce, ketchup, mayonnaise, and cheese, together with the regular "beef" patty mixed with tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese. It makes for an enjoyable snack you'd expect to have right by the beach.
Patty
ššš & šš First rating's for the fish, the second's for the beef. You'd think that seeing as this was served a la Big Mac style, they'd have given more heft to the beef patty. It turns out though that the real star is the fish. Crispy, on the outside but soft on the inside, McDonald's definitely has the right recipe for this one. The beef patty though leaves a lot to be desired, as you're getting that regular patty instead of that buffed up monster from the Big Mac.
Bun

Sesame seeds are ALWAYS welcome. The taste and texture are typical of McDo's menu, being a little soft but agreeable enough to consume for the masses.
Verdict

Next to the Big n' Tasty, this is probably the second best burger you can get from McDonald's Philippines. Fitting for a country that's inherently tropical yet unabashedly influenced by the U.S.A.
