Hello Steemians,
All my friends want to make millions this year but 99% are yet to start out. I asked some of them what was holding them back from starting a business. The #1 reason — by an overwhelming majority of over 90% — was “finding an idea".... The next reason is “no time yet". (Still procrastinating...)
So I’m going to share a few insights about finding a business idea. I want to show you example of ways to come up with good ideas, and inspire you to think deeply about how you actually have 10+ ideas already inside of you.
YES, this could have been too long. But I will break it into parts. I want you to take this seriously because finding a profitable idea can change your life forever.
PART ONE
Every successful business starts with a good business idea. They don't have to be revolutionary or complicated. They can be as simple as cutting grass (Hey! This is a business idea too) But they do need to have the potential to be profitable.
How do you find an idea? How do you know if it's good? What if your only skill is drinking beer and playing shadow fight or world of Warcraft?
Good news — even World of Warcraft nerds can charge for coaching (it’s real — Google it).
For today, a rapid-fire Question and Answer ways on finding your business idea.
By the end of today, I want you to have 10 ideas written down that could turn into a profitable business.
Here we go....
Ask yourself these 3 questions:
1:- What's something that I already pay for?
2:- What skills do I already have?
3:- What do people tell me I'm good at?
A writer once wrote "When you're trying to find a business idea, think about the kind of things you do on a Saturday morning". What do you read about? What do you do when there’s no one telling you what to do?
I bet there are 5+ good business ideas in your answers to these questions.
We'll continue in my next post.
