Through life I have learned that there are two ways of building a "community" a "team" from within that community and then making things happen.
One of those techniques is to straight from the start pick and choose the people who seem to be "the best".
True, that is a very good technique that brings in results from the very beginning. Often enough it is the better approach.
The second approach is to make the masses and then from the masses let the best prove themselves.
Another excellent approach, that brings in numbers and results.
Either way the end result is POSITIVE!
Persistence and self discipline is the key to success to both of these approaches.
Both approaches do become a numbers game at the end of it all.
What we all need to realize is that it is not the numbers that count, but the people, people who are trustworthy, people who are reliable, people who are keen, people who are proactive and not reactive and the list goes on.
In the processes listed above, the importance is in the connecting with people and not approaching people like "numbers".
I plan on being here for the long run, so that is why I am not building "networks" but making lasting connections.
