Ahoy there my friends!
Feeling stuck? I feel your pain!
It is hard to gain momentum toward our goals and dreams while clinging tightly to where we are (The vine that is supporting us now).
Take Tarzan here. He's highly motivated to get to his goal, Jane! Now, he's not going to let go of one vine until he has a firm grip on the next, but he does let go!
Sure, we do need the security of a firm grip on where we are lest we fall to the jungle floor. But, unless we reach for that next vine AND let go of the one behind, we'll never get to the other side of the jungle to find our Jane!
Here's the deal. As we let go of what is behind and reach for what is ahead, momentum builds and we'll find that each subsequent vine is easier to reach and comes to us more quickly!
Now, shout out that mighty Tarzan yell, reach for that vine and get movin'!
