- Don't sit at a desk too much or too long. Get up and stretch. Walk about.
- Do telephone calls standing up. It makes you sound more confident and authoritative (plus it stops you from sitting as much - see point 1).
- Nap after lunch. Just 30 mins. Go on, try it.
- Eat varied foods. Mix it up. Something different for lunch each day. Snack on nuts and berries. Drink water.
Work in sprints. Set your timer and work solidly for 25 mins No interruption. Get up for 5 mins rest, then go again for another solid 25 mins. Rinse and repeat.
Chat around the water cooler. Bond with friends. Catch up on community news. You are a pack animal.
- Have 'walking-meetings' outside - instead of being perched around a board-room table in a stale, artificially lit box.
- Sit still for 5 mins - don't look at your smartphone or your email or anything to do with work or today's technology. Unplug. Be still. Let your mind wander. Do this a few times per day.
- Brain-storm ideas outside - take your desk down onto the lawn. See the blue sky. Set your mind free.
- Think with an abundance mindset. Nature has it all worked out. Don't get dragged down by office politics.
