A little guy like me has enough walls to climb here ... how can I build enough steam to get relevant? If I am not a celebrity or have massive social media that already exists, what can I do to make my voice heard?
If I was a small person and I do not yet have followers on other social media sites I can follow here, how do I build a large following here? People say constantly posting good content and it will happen, however, I've seen lots of posters that have been doing that for weeks and hardly budged.
I've followed the best available advice:

Only post 4 posts per day

Just choose "the right time" to maximize the vote
Participate in the comments section
Participate in chats
With all these tips, they seem to spin the wheel with not much hope in sight.
It seems to be a difficult cycle to skip. No one follows me so no earnings for content creation because nobody picks it. My steam strength is too low to get anything from curation so ask me how to make a little guy make it big on steemit? The deck looks gorgeously stacked against him.
What can I do about this?
