The journey to nowhere is exactly a picture of a life without vision. Defining your destination therefore means clearly stating what your vision is in life so that when it's achieved, you know you have arrived at your destination. For an individual to be without vision is like a Torchlight, ready to provide illumination but no source of power. Being without a goal or a vision is likened as a football match with no goal post.
Vision is a reflection of one's inborn creativity. It is what you allow to be your true person, a reflection of your innermost conditions. With a vision propelled mind, you are able to face challenges of life. Vision is that ingredient of life which gives you guidance and helps you to move towards a fulfilled life.
Vision is the beauty and glory of a well-spent life. For without it, we are grounded and unable to forge ahead and move towards realising our desires in life.
Vision is a divine deposit, deep inside you which makes your life to be distinguished and unique. It is your finger point in a sea of billions of people, which clearly marks you out and identifies you.
Forensic science has confirmed the uniqueness of every human body. Every one of the approximate 7 billion people on the earth's surface has a unique pattern of finger print and lines on the palm. You can be identified by your voice modulation, saliva, life and hair, even the pupil of the eye yes, even if you are blonde or dark, your hair and your eyes can be used to trace you; so is vision. It is unique and it is a distingusher. It is the innate eye of the mind that helps you to make discoveries and embrace the glorious future.
It is your instrument for exploring the future and accessing all that God has in store for you.
A man's life will know fulfillment, joy and success if he can rely more on his personal visions and belief rather than the opinions and opines of others, or even the certificates he acquired from school. Vision is a key to open the door to the maximization of life. It is an unstoppable downpour of an avalanche of greatness if properly accumulated and executed. Once discovered and unleashed, it will help you come into a life of fulfillment.
If a man must transition from struggle to success, his master key is nothing but vision. Many people have made progresses in life simply by trusting and relying on their talent. Talent is great, but it cannot be mistaken for vision. For it is but a by-product of vision. Talent is a mere demonstration of an ability you have been honed with practice or training, while vision is the ability to see and to pursue.
It's the ability to already see what does not apparently have an immediate and physical manifestation and yet cause it to become reality as you pursue. The world is ruled only by visionaries, while the rest of the people are followers. They resolve problems and bring solutions to the most difficult riddles of life. Observe the example of Joseph in Egypt, the very advanced civilization which required people who were highly educated to lead, yet as a visionary and also an interpreter of dreams, he brought about solutions that talent and education could not.
Vision is a discovery of God's original divine plan for your life and subsequently pursuing it until there is a manifestation. Your sense of actualization, your experience of success and joy is hidden in the discovery and pursuit of the vision you have for life.
According to Thomas Carlyle, he said "A man without a purpose in life is like a ship without rudder". Again the philosopher Seneca said, "If a man knows not what harbor he seeks, any wind is the right wind". It is of utmost importance that you set out and achieve your purpose in life by pursing what is the right vision for your life, and not that of another.
Of course, the chances are that one might get caught up in the trap of what we call "copycat, lock-step vision and a life of mediocrity". but those are mere stepping stones to the greatness beyond.
It is very easy to try to be someone else simply by emulating and copying what they do. Lock-step mentality is when you make a comparison between you and your friends so the people around you, and you lock into them and feel that because they have not left you behind or that somehow you are catching up with them, then you are running with the right vision. No!!
A vision could never be right if is mainly built on the platform of merely copying others, trying to catch up with them or just being mediocre with life. A vision is also completely wrong if it means repeating what others have done and following their trails. But a true vision is rather getting to know what God almighty has in store for you, which really may exceed what people whom you highly regard have ever done.
The right vision authenticates your life and sets you as a silhouette and reflection worthy of emulation. It transforms your life from being a mere copy. It stops you from the synthetic lifestyle and gives you the real deal.
The question now is..... Friends, do you have a vision??
Write it down and make it happen!!!
