(39.83) Compulsory scanning of 38 imported goods at Benapole port
During the import and export of Jessore Benapole land port, mobile scanning of 38 products has been made compulsory. And for this, the scam should be paid to the dealers. The announcement was made in a letter signed by Benapole Customs Commissioner Mohammad Belal Hossain Chowdhury.
Among the 38 products under mobile scanners are Chachis, Kostik Soda, Liquid Gas, Cut Floyer, Polyester Chips, Fertilizer, Spray Irons, Bleaching Powder, Activated Carbon, Rice, Dry Pepper, Kocha Pepper, Drink, Chickpeas, Quick Lime (Calcium) Oxide), limestone (calcium carbonate), quartz powder, MS weed rod, printed laminated film, aluminum ingot, non-alloy iron ingot, and more Fact, Carbon Black, Iron Billlet, RA-Cotton, Zlatine Capsules, Ferro Silicate, Onion, Garlic, Genezer, Whit, Lentil, Stonechips, Soybeen Extra, Rapids Extracrack, AESPE Compound, PP Compound and LDPE / LLDPE Compound
The letter said that scanning of these products has been made compulsory for the purpose of simplifying the trade with achieving the target of the National Board of Revenue.
Benapole port director (traffic) Aminul Islam confirmed the mobile scan of 38 Indian products.
According to customs and ports, there are more irregularities in the inventory of goods mentioned in the letter. In addition, there are also cases of tax evasion in the false declaration of these products. Mobile trafficking in these products will prevent the trafficking of goods by launching mobile scanning.
Benapole C & F Agent Association president Mofizur Rahman Sajna said, "Most of the industries are importing raw materials from the industrial factories by the port. Businessmen also want to start scanning the import of these products. However, this can reduce the cost of the len-dens.
