⛪ St. Anthony de Padua - Religious Tourism- Barangay Sulangan Guiuan, Eastern Samar
Visitation to St. Anthony (San Antonio)Shrine has been part of our family tradition yearly. This Church is being visited both local and domestic catholic devotees. It is strongly believe that the saint grants petitions when you kneel in its church. Personal Intentions such as passing board examination, health, illness fast recovery and so many prayers are implored here.
If you were asking to grant you petition is it a practice in the place to give alms to the images of different saints in the museum (left side when entering the church) . Someone from the place told that you have to give equally to all the saints. if one peso to the 1st saints one peso to all.
It is first time for kid sophia visit the place.
it took us 4 hours travel from our hometown to reach the church. Eastern Samar is locally known in our place splendid with beautiful beaches. In Barangay Calico-an Barangay Baras and Barangay Sulangan in Guiuan you will find white sand beaches with crystal clear sea water. A perfect site for surfing 🏄♂️. Foreign Tourist are now even started to notice its potential for such water activity.
