A few days ago I mentioned that I'm "moving to Busy.org" and no longer using Steemit.com for my daily posts.

After receiving a lot of comments and direct messages (on Facebook), there seems to be quite a bit of confusion about what exactly Busy.org is. Today's post should clear some of that up.
Let's go over some blockchain basics.
Steem is a blockchain. Steemit.com is a "block explorer" and way to interact with the Steem blockchain. Basically, Steemit.com is ONE WEBSITE that allows you to see the contents of the Steem blockchain. Some call this a "front-end" interface.
There are already several Steem block explorers (or front-ends) which all you to view the data and transactions of the blockchain. These include Steemit.com, Busy.org, ESteem.ws (designed for mobile), DTube, DSound, Zappl, DMania.lol and it seems like many more every month.
When I said that I'm "leaving Steemit.com and moving to Busy.org", I didn't mean that I would stop posting on Steem, but instead I decided to use a different website "front-end" to access and submit posts to the Steem blockchain. Don't worry, i'm not going anywhere and ur stuck w/ me _ keke
If you post something on, let's say, Busy.org...in the URL if you change the part that says "busy.org" with "steemit.com" then you'll see your exact same post on the Steemit.com website. If you post a video on DTube, it will also be available on Busy.org. See how this works?
Some front-ends only display a certain type of content. For example, DSound was built to only display audio and Dmania.lol was built to only show images. DTube was built to only display video. If I post a video on DTube, it will show up on Steemit and Busy (because they display everything) but it wouldn't show up on DSound or Zappl because the type of content (video) isn't supported on those front-ends.
Check it out, replace the URL for this post. Swap out "steemit.com" with "busy.org" and see what happens. (FYI: It seems like Busy.org is overloaded today and I can't get the website to load, thus i'm actually creating this post on Steemit.com). See how that works? It doesn't matter what website I use...i'm just submitting posts to the Steem blockchain!
Examples of this for the Bitcoin blockchain. All of these "block explorers" show the exact same information for the Bitcoin address 1KraNMPw7QMaaLmHsiMj57QKq9GHvZLKgh
