That's one other thing I can't help you with at the moment. Steemville is like a party; to get noticed, you've got to come in something big. Without a grand entry, it's almost impossible for you to get noticed here. So what are the odds of getting noticed when you don't have the large SP magnet or the "known name"? I'll say zero!
This could be a bad thing but not necessarily so. Everywhere in life, there are challenges to be overcome and for folks who aren't fortunate enough to posses the grand entry shenanigans, it means we have to get creative and think outside the box. My being awesome is apparently no longer enough to get me friends. Well, apart from the amazing ones that already welcomed me (

What Can A New Account Do To Get Noticed?
Quality Content
The generic answer to this (as heard in many quarters) will be to put out quality content but the quality of the content isn't the issue here, the quality of the eyeballs on the content is. So instead of just telling everyone to put out quality content and wait six months to get noticed like you, why not find ways to make their content seen by a lot more people?
Giveaways
As tempting as this seems, it just feels cheap to be going this route off the bat. Giveaways are supposed to reward loyal fans and not buy fans. Going this route from the onset makes it look like you're desperately in need of attention.
and yes you are but you don't have to let the whole world know
Large SP
This one I wish I have because it's a surefire way to get noticed in Steemville. All I'd have needed to do was just announce my presence and how much I've come in with and folks will start flocking to comment on my posts. Maybe I'd even upvote myself a little to get on the trending page aaaaaand BOOM! everything will be fine. Unfortunately, all that's just a dream. I don't have the large SP so I'll have to look for some other ways to gain attention in Steemville.
