Larnaca Salt Lake
Today was a smoldering hot day and we decided to go to the famous Larnaca Salt lake. Right now it’s dried out and only salt is left on the bottom. During the winter the rain fills it up and it becomes a habitat of tens of thousands Flamingos.
Even though it would have been cool to see some pink flamingos I think this desert view is pretty bad ass as wel !
The view was almost surreal and makes you feel like you’re on another planet.
I was only able to walk out on the dried out lake bed for a little while and check it and then the taxi driver was honking the horn because we told him to wait for us. We surely didn’t want to go back to the hotel on foot in this heat.
