I am going to try and make a dtube video in the future using shotcut

Under the advice of Hive account@onnovocks I am going to try and find something to make a DIY video of some sort of project and edit it using the Shotcut video editing software and then drop it on Dtube and youtube. Has anyone used this to edit videos? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as this will be my first ever attempt at video editing.

He suggested this for a beginner like me. Wish me luck. Hopefully, I will have a project to start on in the next week or 2.
