From time to time I go through my blog and look at things I have written.
I used to write a lot about STEEM.
I came across this title.
Vlog #58: Communities are already here, they are just invisible.
Haha, I wrote that in 22/7/2017 and it was true at the time.
But now it's not anymore because communities are visible all over the blockchain.
I'm involved in a more than a couple, but right now mostly in Steem Monsters (I'm an addict).
For others it's Steemhunt, Dtube, Partiko, Utopian.io or any other of the Dapps/Projects we have on here and if you look deeply enough you probably also find a community of Steem haters on Steem :)
Anyway...the other day I was asked in a comment if I'm worried by the little decline we have seen in user activity from the heights of 10 months ago. here.
My answer is no. I'm not.
I think part of the reason is that we are in a bear market. Any reversal and the users that left will come back running (sadly for them missing months of earning STEEM).
But the real community is still here. Yesterday 52,778 accounts transacting on the Blockchain.
But there is more.
Since the bear trend started 10 months ago development on this blockchain has not stood still.
The blockchain is being worked on by Steem Inc and the Dapps keep coming and new updates are announced weekly.
The fundamentals are great.
Why is this not yet reflected in the price?
I must admit I don't know...
This latest bear trend has been good great lesson for me as an investor. I learned a lot.
I never thought markets could disregard fundamentals as they have done.
So I just wait. I have time. I know this will turn around in good time.
There is too much going on.
And in the meantime I'm going to have fun playing another round of Steem Monsters to keep me busy!
