It is a cause that allows you to donate any amount that will later be used to relieve some of the travel expenses of SteemFest attendees and will be distributed after the SteemFest event to them. So, you are already all packed and ready to go. We understand your enthusiasm. You are looking forward to SteemFest and you should be, it is going to be an amazing experience for you. If you are looking at your briefcase and thinking about how in order to afford this trip you are sacrificing having toilet paper and food when you get back, do not worry. will help you. This is what will happen...
will help you. This is what will happen...STEP 1: In Kraków on Conference Day 1 & 2 you can apply for the 'Travel Reimbursement Fund' (during coffee breaks) by registering the trip details at the SteemFest Desk. You will have to show proof of travel and your ticket.
STEP 2: Reimbursement will be based on miles travelled. The starting point will be the distance from the airport of departure to Qubus hotel in Kraków. The distance is based on line-of-sight straight point distance, and the 'SBD/Steem per Mile'-rate will be the same for all.
STEP 3 : At the end of Conference Day 2 (18:00 / 6 PM) the application entry closes and the total amount of Miles traveled by all applicants is available. The SBD/Mile & Steem/Mile rates will be established and the payouts will be automatically executed via a script soon after SteemFest. Applicants will both get Steem and SBD.
