(39.74) Attorney General threatens to kill
Attorney General Mahbubey Alam has been threatened with murder. In this regard, his personal assistant Kabir Ahmed made a general diary (GD) at Shahbagh Police Station. The threat was given to the Attorney General on Thursday (July 19th), police said.
Shahbagh Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abul Hasan told the Bangla Tribune that he was threatened to kill him through a letter of no-name. In this regard, his personal assistant came to the police station and made a GD.
He said, 'We are looking into the matter seriously. '
Attorney General Mahbubey Alam told the Bangla Tribune that, on Thursday (July 19th), I received a letter in the evening. The letter says, 'The law will run at its own pace. The statement that you are giving, it seems that Sheikh Hasina (Prime Minister) has bought you. You will not be forgiven for the taxation you are making about Khaleda Zia. Your death is inevitable. Be careful. '
Later, his personal assistant (PS) Kabir Ahmed went to the Shahbagh Police Station, said the attorney general.
