Meanwhile, Executive Engineer of District Water Development Board Syed Shahidul Alam has said that the approval has been sent to the ministry for approval of a project worth Tk 200 million.
Local MP Abdul Wadud said that the previous project was about river dredging. For this, the budget of the project was also high. Regarding the project, there is no need for river dredging in this area. So the water development board sought new projects apart from dredging. In this situation, new DPP work is in progress. So that the roads with permanent dams and old ringbunds will be renovated. If the project is approved, permanent dam construction will start in the dry season.
