Abraham Lincoln (Born February 12, 1809 - died April 15, 1865) 16th President of the United States. He was the first President of the Republican Party, and from 1861 to the year 1865 AD. Lincoln was elected President of the Republican Party in 1860, the most anti-slave system. In 1863, he ended the slavery of the United States and liberated slaves through the Emancipation Proclamation. During the United States Civil War, he led the Northern Union forces to the slave system and defeated the southern Confederate coalition. He was shot and killed on 15 April 1865 by the assassination of John Wilkes Booth.
