. Today I am feeling very sleepy so I am thinking about my cats taking their nap so happily. My cats seem to be able to fall asleep quite easily.
I notice that whenever I am around the farm house in the countryside, all my cats would sleep anywhere in the open without any need for defensive shields such as behind a chair or in the corner. They would just fall asleep in the middle of the stairs or parking area. This gives me some concern as they seem to let their guards down too easily. A neighbour's dog could quietly come on through the garden fence to attack them by surprise.
Two weeks ago, my cats were attacked by a stray cat from the fishing village at 2am. They were sleeping soundly in front of my front door. I had to defend my cats and chase that aggressive cat down
the road. Then, I had to calm down my frightened cats and cleaned the whole place up. I hope that fierce male cat would never come back again!
วันนี้เราง่วงนอนมาก ทำให้คิดถึงแมวที่บ้าน เวลามันนอนหลับสบายๆ ทำให้เรานึกอิจฉามาก ท่าทางนอนหลับลึกและได้พักผ่อนกันเต็มที่ ตื่นมาก็มีพลังวิ่งเล่นมากมาย. เราสังเกตว่า วันไหนที่เราอยู่ที่บ้านสวน พวกแมวจะออกมาจากที่ซ่อน มานอนกันในที่โล่งอย่างเปิดเผย บางตัวนอนหลับบนบันได บางตัวนอนกลางลานจอดรถ พวกมันนอนกันแบบไม่มีที่กำบัง และไม่นอรในที่ซ่อนตัว ทำให้เราค่อนข้างกังวล หากมีสุนัขของเพื่อนบ้านย่องเข้ามาเงียบๆ แมวอาจจะตั้งตัวไม่ทัน
เมื่อสองอาทิตย์ก่อน แมวเร่ร่อนมาจากหมู่บ้านชาวประมง มากัดแมวของเราที่กำลังนอนหลับสบายๆ ที่หน้าประตูบ้านตอนตีสอง เราต้องออกมาไล่แมวตัวนี้ไปออกนอกถนน แมวตัวผู้ตัวนี้ตัวใหญ่มาก แล้วกวังว่มันคงไม่กลับมาอีก เราต้องมาปลอบแมวที่ตกใจกลัว จนล่าถอยไปอยู่บนขื่อแคบๆ บางตัวขึ้นไปอยู่บนต้นไม้ เราต้องทำความสะอาดกลิ่นที่มันทิ้งไว้ด้วย แมวของเราจะได้สบายใจด้วย. พวกมันเหมือนเด็กที่ใจดีมาก เราอยากให้พวกมันกล้าสู้เหมือนยายแมวของพวกมันบ้าง
