We human beings are the animal best friends, but as they say, best friend is the best enemy. How often do you agree?
The Animal Kingdom
In an animal kingdom, two main groups are divided to classify their classes. ### Vertebrates, this kind of species have backbones. These are fish, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and birds.
Invertebrates are cold-blooded in two kingdoms. The single-celled species lived in the water are mostly can be seen under the microscope. They also live in human bodies.
Coelenterates who breathe in the ocean are jellies, corals, and sea anemones.
***Flatworms ***breathed in the freshwater, stones, and streams. True, or segmented worms survive under the earth and the sea.
***Crustaceans ***breathe in the freshwater or seawater such as lobsters, prawns, crabs, and barnacles.
***Insects ***are the massive group of all beasts. They can live for many years. Such example is the weta cricket in New Zealand. After its death in the winter, it lives again in the summer.
Spiders, scorpions, mites, and ticks are non-insects. These kinds have peculiar numbers of legs. Its body portion is also unusual. What makes spiders special are their two body segments and four legs. Some of them are precarious to poison humans by their bite.
Molluscs have soft bodies that breathe in the shell. Oysters are species with two shells, some don't have. They exist in the freshwater, rivers, and in the ocean. Snails, mussels, and octopus intact the group.
Echinoderm, breathe in the sea in a spiny skin. Their bodies glisten. They have "tube feet" filled with water beneath their bodies. These are starfish, sea urchins, and sea cucumbers.
Animals and their Uses
Several years pass by, humans use animals in many ways. They are trained for travel to pull the sled to load their belongings. Later, a man knew that he can ride an animal without a sled. Then, he worked to travel one place to another.
Animals are very helpful to us. I am appreciative of those people that protect these creatures because these species are sent with a purpose. Just imagine the bees and silkworms, they are small creatures and scary creatures, but we still need to take care of them because they have something we can benefit. Bees provide honey that fights against diseases.
The silk cocoon was used in China for thousand years ago then they knew how to spin..
Humans and the Deadliest Man-eaters
However, there are animals that are dangerous to us humans. Some of them are carnivores. There are also noncarnivores that kill us once they are destroyed.
As time passes by, we are nevertheless observant for survival. They are massive and deadly. Such example is the crocodiles who are always aggressive to hunt us, the lions, bear, leopards, shark, hyenas, and Komodo dragons(source). Our greater enemies are smaller beasts specifically a snake and parasite. The smallest but most dangerous can be seen by microscopes such as virus and bacteria. Millions of people die every day as defeated by these precarious organisms. They are invisible. We cannot know that they dwell in our foods, water, things, seats, and inside our bodies. Until human's last breath, they continue to eat human flesh. They also live in the plants and in the other animals. Indeed, they fight humans unfairly. A person may lose hope resulting by diseases they brought to our bodies. In continuation of our battle against them, there are daily medicines invented to destroy their disastrous transmission. Devices are invented to trace them dwelling in our bodies. Thanks to the advancement of today's inventions.
****### How Can We Preserve Wildlife?****
Even though animals are our greatest enemies, we can benefit a lot to some of them. There are two reasons why they decrease. First, due to climbing numbers of human hunters. Second, our population grows bigger rapidly, but our land remains the same.
When I was 7 years old, my neighbors celebrated often every Sunday after their whole night hunting of wild hog in the forest. Their hunter dogs directed them where to catch the wild animal then they can easily catch animals. Then they can bring 5 wild hogs every hunting they do. These days. I have not seen my uncles hunted wild hog successfully in the forest.
My grandpa who is the great hunter of wild pigs and deer have not successfully predated nowadays.
Many hunters predate wildlife for fun, another reason why they slowly disappear. While the world needs a plentiful supply of meats from the animals, animals are lessened too. Fish, whales are lessened. The production of fur from the leopards is lessened because this animal can now be seen rarely. To stop this problem, wildlife conservation, illegalizing hunting activity, and building a national park are always an obligatory duty.
