KNC along with other crypto coins have dumped hard. I mean, really hard. A few month ago it went to above 2.5$ for a while. Now its around 60 cents. This has increased the amount of knc burned. Last week about 4000 knc was burned.
Lower price = higher amount of knc burned. This is good for long term holders cause if knc maintains a high amount of burn in these early days, it will attract attention of other people and help with its success.
