... seems to have strange results on my body.
First off, I like sweet things - and I treat myself to some probably a bit too often. But sometimes I manage to get my consumption down, declining to eat some extra sweet things and opting for some bread or boiled potatoes instead.
After about two or three days, the cravings for the extra sweets decline, and a few days more and ... I somehow have excess water in my body.
Of course, it could just be that I had always this excess water in my body in order to counteract the vast amounts of sugar I was running around with.
Too bad that these moments only last so long ... because sometimes you are just going to treat yourself again - and the cravings return much faster than they went away.
At least it is possible to check how much sugar certain foods contain, as the amount needs to be printed on the label in germany ... and eating certain foods (like frozen pizza), you easily shoot past the amount that your body can handle on a daily basis ...
What I found shocking was that Hypoglycemia (too little sugar in the blood) and Hyperglycemia (too much sugar in the blood) have some of the same symptoms ... (learned it during a first-aid course I took roughtly two years ago) - so if you feel tired often ... or hungry ... that can be a result of too much sugar.
