Hello everyone!
I finally managed to reach 1000 followers! Now is this a reason to celebrate? Probably not, since many of these accounts are inactive and some others (actually many others) are bots or something...but this is a whole different conversation.
Anyway, I've been here exactly 222 days, but...who's counting right?
And this is a great opportunity for me to say "thank you" to each and everyone of you for your support. It is an amazing journey for me so far, and I am more than grateful for all the advise I was given, for every comment you drop on my posts, for every vote you give.
Starting my Steemit adventure back in January I was dazzled by some accounts and the number of followers they had. So I thought "they must produce something really good in order to have so many followers" and the truth is that some of them are indeed great content creators. Each one with his own unique way, they all contribute so that Steemit gets better day after day.
The truth is that on my early days here I was gaining followers by dozens every day. I guess the activity was way more back on those days. But to be perfectly honest with you I'd rather have 100 active followers than maybe 5000 who never engaged with me. Anyway...
In my turn, I hope that I inspire some of you too, to keep trying, being optimistic and never give up. I've repeatedly said that I am a huge fan of Steemit / steem and that the potential they have is just huge. So make sure to stick around.
I would also like to thank all those newcomers who keep engaging with me and drop meaningful comments rather than the usual "great post keep it up shit" and finally, a special thanks to the Greek family whose support has been just unreal so far.
But Steemit is not just receiving from the community, but also giving back. And I intend to do that more often from now on through challenges and contests.
