We went to a favorite little store in Waupaca WI yesterday. Drove 100 miles round trip to spend $33. A well spent afternoon. Absolutely beautiful drive. It isn't really 100 miles to Waupaca but we took several side trips for scenery.
Anyway, the little store has added a really cool feature.
One of the items we went for is a jar of lemon honey. They make their own honey and we had sampled the lemon honey last time. Delicious. We opted for maple fudge that time though so went back for the honey. Going to try it on a chocolate cake, a lemon cake, dip vanilla wafers in it and going to sample over a bananna.
We walked though to another room and here they had aded the bees. 10,000 of them according to the sign! I am sure that is an approximate. Lol
It is a working display of the natural honey making process. They have this tube for the bees to come and go. Very natural.
And we get this huge selection of honey!
But we stuck with our orignial choice and added just this tiny bear bottle of plain old honey. For biscuits.
