We are clear that immigration has always existed in our nation. The issue is in the reasons why our inhabitants emigrate, our nation was for many years after World War II center of many European immigrants and not only of Europe, also of neighboring countries due to the bloody dictatorships of the southern cone.
The diaspora that we see today in Venezuela is perhaps unprecedented. I do not have at hand the figures of how many compatriots have left. But it is becoming daily to listen to people say, I leave the country, I want to leave, or can not live here, the sad thing is that many Venezuelans leave without wanting to do so, that is the saddest way to emigrate , because you are forced, maybe before people left, but they did it with desire to do it and with a smile on their face, today they do it with tears in their eyes.
It is not easy to emigrate. Many do it and come back because it is not easy to be in an alien house, hopefully soon this situation will change so that those compatriots who left will come back with a smile on their faces, and I confess that every time I find out about a friend that leaves me sad, it is sad that Venezuela see their children leave for a precarious government system that seems not aware of it, GOOD BUT WE ARE.
