Farmers markets rule. Period. Hands-down the best places to experience the best locally sourced foodstuffs plus the theater of life. Drop-dead gorgeous presentations of the freshest (and therefore most vibrantly colorful) of everything. You accomplished your objective of showing the "lushness." My personal favorite is La Boqueria in Barcelona.
