Ahhh I finally managed to swim to the surface and gasp for air! Omg this last month has been crazy, but not quite in the way you might think. Well sure, there was a lot of studying.....I mean a lot of studying, but I also traveled and partied to my hearts content as I navigated my first two months of dental school!
I decided to name my blog the Traveling Dentist because they were both things I wanted to do and become! I promised that if I was going to go through the roughest academic year of my life, I would find every reasonable opportunity to try something new, or if I had a chance, travel to a new place.
I'm happy to say that I was able to do really well on my first 2 quizzes and Physiology exam and was able to travel to Cape Cod and Rhode Island!
I also was able to start drilling and completed a class two amalgam filling on #19! it was a really weird feeling drilling into Ivory and I made a ton of mistakes including completely burning out the bur (What we put in our drills to cut) and the tooth I was working on. I have a lot of work to do, but I was very happy with my first attempt!
I know what your thinking, this is supposed to be part travel blog and you never travel! It's less that I don't travel and more I don't have the time or energy to compile my pictures and words to share with you all!
I honestly don't remember what 8 hours of sleep feel like, let alone have try to manage studying and blogging, but I'm hoping to pop in once and a while to see how everyone is doing!
I noticed that Steem plummeted below $0.80, which inspired me to take a break from Biochemistry to compile so semi random thoughts on a template to earn some cheap Steem! I'm hopeful that we won't be at the bottom forever and there will be light at the end of the tunnel for plenty of the quality projects out there hibernating during this bear market!
Well I'm going to try and take a quick nap before I get back to work, but I hope everyone is doing well and I appreciate all of the support! Until next time, this has been a message from your friendly neighborhood #spiderblooger!
