Well, I'm giving busy.org a try and overall I like it, but right now it's being dumb and making it really hard to upload pictures. So I guess I'll just stick with the one picture it let me upload for now!
I saw the Grand Canyon for the first time a couple weeks ago, and goodness gracious it is amazing. It was in the mid-20s while we were there, so the majority of the group I was traveling with were lame and would get out and peek at each lookout point, then go back to the van. I wanted to soak up every bit of the Grand Canyon I could, so I kept everyone waiting while I climbed around to my heart's content and dangled my feet over the end while gazing out over the vast hole in the ground. It really is true that pictures don't do the Grand Canyon justice. It is such a remarkable natural phenomenon and I could have spent hours just sitting along the edge enjoying the view.
It's definitely humbling to sit along the edge of something so vast and realize how tiny and unimportant I am in comparison. I think it's a feeling that everyone should experience in their lifetime.
I'll post some more pictures from the Grand Canyon sometime when busy.org or steemit are more cooperative, but for now here's a panorama that I took. I tried out the panorama feature on my Fuji just to see what it was like and this was the result. My analysis is: not the worst, not the best!
In other news, the winner of my Metadata Monday post is none other than the notorious
who guessed the answer (40mm) right on the button. Congrats you ol' so and so!
If any of you are interesting in competing in my Where is it Wednesday post, you still have time to do so! All you have to do is guess what time of day the picture was taken and the winner gets money. Come join the fun!
