Magandang buhay!
Quite a hectic midweek.
Though I was feeling tired last night, I still went on with my DIY today, taking advantage of the hubby's absence. That's because when he comes home, he will dissuade me from doing this or that, even though he knows too well that when I've made up my mind, I have to see things through.
But yeah, he would surely be surprised at how much I have accomplished while he was away. He expects me to be lazing in the house, but nah, not this time. I like to complete my lil project before the holidays.
And the truth is, I tend to be more focused and productive when he is not around. I rarely spend time on the screen. My work usually goes smoothly when he doesn't interfere. He often takes the long cut, which isn't my style. I am the opposite — always finding the quickest way to do things (less time), even when it means exerting more effort. Of course, I'm still quite meticulous with the quality of what I do.
Anyway, I'm just really thankful to have the strength and the tenacity to work on something I want and see it to the finish line, even when I often have lazy days in between.
Meanwhile, I was really hoping no one in the family would be sick (especially this month), that we would always be healthier. Unfortunately, that isn't in my control. Ahjay, my niece, was rushed to the emergency room because she suddenly got so weak she couldn't get out of bed by herself.
My sister's BP had been shooting up, even when she religiously takes her maintenance meds. Her husband is under observation concerning his heart. Mom's youngest brother is also in the hospital for a hypertension crisis (his BP is 220/120). Geez, December, please be good!
