It is quite common that when passing a certain age, human beings live moments of confusion when noticing that what we were so passionate for 5, 6 years, even more, no longer awakens in us the passion of other times. These are difficult times, basically because the books and gurus of happiness often talk about pursuing our dreams and we are already programmed to follow a dream that suddenly does not become so attractive ... What path to take?
Life is not a one-way road
The answer will sound harsh, hard because we program our brain in a sense but, sometimes, it is necessary to go back and reprogram a new dream, that perhaps reposed in a hidden way somewhere in your soul.
You may have studied piano, even graduating from a conservatory and suddenly, one fine day, you realize that what pleases you most is to dedicate yourself to writing, that you spend more and more hours a day at your desk, writing and less hours to practice, which, unequivocally, makes a concert performer an average piano teacher and performer of medium level.
That is what the expression refers back to. Many of our dreams are fulfilled only if they are always dreams. It is worthless to dream of being a great painter if that dream is not maintained as a passion for painting. If on reaching it suddenly our soul does not seem in love with it, it is time to consider things well and understand that life is not a one-way road.
Deep inside, only you will know whether to go back and take a new road at the last crossing is what you need to be happy. The important thing here is not denying outright, everything needs a revision and sometimes a thorough restructuring to achieve the desired harmony or leveling, our life is not the exception to it.
