And the second day started for all of us here at the Hive Open Days in Alicante. A busy day, with a lot of good food and fun. We continued with the Hive Bingo, and quite a few of us managed to make the full bingo sheet (I only did 2 lines, but some managed to snatch considerable prizes).
First one was , introducing people to her Hive story and pointing out some interesting things about the ecosystem.
Next we had showing to the new people how to make a Hive account, how to login and how to make your first post, with what you need to mention and what to avoid, as a short guide. Some technical difficulties, but in the end was a good guide, with some interesting hints.
Next, all the way from UK, talked to us about communities, and how to try and make whatever you fancy, with bigger or smaller results. All that I will clearly remember from this was Trainspotting, or as Sheldon would say: Who doesn't like trains? Nothing about the loo will be mentioned in here.
And then we got our lunch, as you can see, many kind of cheese, some grapes and biscuits (or grissini, i do not know the proper name for it)., Empanadas, pizza, jamon and much more.
Bread, tomato sauce, aioli and mini salads (they may or may not have some quail eggs in it).
And of course, the coup de grace, paella, in two versions, with vegetables and with seafood.
After eating a bit too much, we went through our posh moment, with and Alessandra singing to us, from classical music all the way to James Bond soundtrack.
They even sang my favourite piece, City of Stars from LaLaLand.
And before we end it for the day, introduced us to WorldMapPin version 2, and all the future plans related to it. I will test it with this post, to see how it goes.
In the evening we all met in a little cosy Lebanese restaurant, where we ate some tasty food together. Check my meat platter!
For , a decent lamb sish with wedges and salad.
Then and her Czech partner (
?) got those plates, I totally forgot their names, but they looked tasty.
We were more than twenty in here, as you can see in this picture. All in good mood, and we had some awesome ideas exchange, learning new things or just enjoying a falafel tower.
Tomorrow we will become the terror of the seven seas, the Hive pirates, as we get a boat in our hands, departing for the small island of Tabarca. And yes, for who was asking, I am here for the food mostly. Of course I like to eat all the good stuff. Day two gone, I will go to rest.
See you soon.
