Problem Statement and Theme:
In the realm of healthcare and fitness, one of the persistent challenges is the secure and efficient management of patients' medical records. Patients often struggle with accessing their medical history promptly, especially when consulting different healthcare providers. This lack of centralized and secure access can lead to delays in treatment and potential miscommunication between patients and healthcare professionals.
Our Solution:
To address this issue, our team has developed the "MyHealth Passport" app. This application aims to provide a secure, centralized platform for patients to store and manage their medical records. Here's how we plan to achieve this:
Jetpack Compose: We are using Jetpack Compose to develop a user-friendly and intuitive Android app interface, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Firebase Authentication: For authentication purposes, we have implemented Firebase Authentication to verify the identities of both doctors and patients, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to sensitive information.
Cloud Firestore: We are leveraging Cloud Firestore to securely store patients' data. This allows for efficient storage and retrieval of medical records anytime, anywhere, using unique medical IDs for enhanced privacy and security.
Lottie Animation: To enhance the UI/UX, we have incorporated Lottie animations, making the app visually appealing and interactive.
By utilizing these technologies, "MyHealth Passport" ensures that patients can securely store their medical records and access them conveniently, facilitating better communication and continuity of care between patients and healthcare providers.
