I met these funny guys during my last trip to Thailand with my wife Yoshi, in the North of the country close to Chiang Mai.
The only thing to be careful of when you go for this kind of activity, is to carefully choose the company that propose you to go see elephants. Avoid the ones that propose you to ride them, elephants are not to be ridden.
We heard a lot of bad stories about elephants being abused in Thailand for the only purpose of business.
Here we went to gave them food, join them in their daily mud bath, and finally go to the river to wash them and play in the water.
The baby one called Dumbo (lol), was so adorable, he was running everywhere in a clumsy way looking for food or friends to play with, and sometimes, as you can see on the 1st picture, he was falling and struggling to stand up again.
