These aspen trees are easy to carve graffiti into because they have a fairly smooth soft bark so its easy for people to leave their mark. The San francisco Peaks north of Flagstaff Arizona is a great place to observe the Aspen groves during the wonderful fall color change. This image was captured on film using a Pentax 6x7-2 medium format camera and is being entered in daveks bw photo contest.
