After investing in a Level 1 Byzantine Kitty a few weeks ago @ $401,
I finally got the 99 Mana Match up I wanted.
Who knows, if I went with Kelya we might've Drawn, but I noticed before our battle that my opponents' Water Cards were used the last 5 battles in a Row. AND each time all cards were maxed out for Silver. I have a few that aren't quite, so I chose Level 1 Byzantine Kitty to counter the maxed out Silver Water Team.
Kitty, besides healing her tank each round, and giving True Strike (Attacks Cannot Miss), also gives +2 Speed to All Friendly Monsters, versus Kelya's +1 Speed (& +1 Armor) to All Friendly Monsters. The Speedy Healing Feline is best in 99 Battles. Along with the likes of DeimonShark 1st, Carnage Titan 2nd, & then DJinn Oshannus 3rd, with Nerissa Tridawn in the back 6th, Chaos Dragon and Diamond Dragon were called up for the 4th & 5th positions respectively. I almost put in River Hellondale in,instead of Nerissa Tridawn, but while River Hellondale would've been tremendous and better in the middle and resurrected Deimon Shark, Nerissa has 3 Magic Damage & High Health Power in 10, vs River's 2 Magic Damage 4 Low Health Power, so I went with Miss Tridawn in the back to absorb sneak attack.

Byzantine Kitty's tank heal is amazing & allows you to not have to choose a healer like Merdaali Guardian. Merdaali can be useful, but has no Attack. And vs a Summoner like Kitty who is already Healing your Tank Each Round, and Making Everyone +2 Faster, can make it very challenging to win against #-_-#
Especially when you add in True Strike as well!
This 2nd battle has Supply Runner & Igor Darkspear in the back. I forgot that Supply Runner doesn't gain Swiftness (which adds +1 Speed to all your Monsters) till Level 4 or 5?!# Since this is a Kitty Level 1, Supply Runner doesn't go higher than Level 3 (Common). But it didn't matter! While my opponents' Tarsa Level 2 is a good card, a Level 2 Rare Summoner can be up to Level 4 in Silver.
This reiterates my two prior posts' importance of Leveling up your Summoners, in regards to my opponent could've had a Level 4 Tarsa and subsequently Higher Level monsters as well. However, Kitty is quality. Even at Level 1. Along with Kitty from the Dragon Splinter & Water Splinter we have Chaos Dragon, Diamond Dragon, DJinn Oshannus, & DeimonShark as a tank, along with Deep Lurker!
