We will also teach you how to decorate this wet chocolate cake, although you can always let your imagination run wild and do it your way. Without a doubt, this dessert is perfect in every way and you will see that it is very easy to prepare.
Ingredients for the sponge cake:
• 3 Cup of leavening flour
• 1 teaspoon of baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 Cup of Cocoa
• 300 Milliliters of Oil
• 1 Cup of Milk
• 2 Teaspoonful of Vanilla
• 2 teaspoon of vinegar
• 3 Units of Egg
• 2 Cup of Sugar
Ingredients for the filling and cover:
• 1.5 Cup of boiling water
• 1 glass of cocoa
• 2 Cup of condensed milk
• 2 can of evaporated milk
• 2 tablespoons of butter Sponge cake preparation: 1. To prepare our chocolate cake we will start with the sponge cake. To do this, sift the flour with the bicarbonate, the cocoa powder and the salt. 2. Then add the oil and mix well with a spoon. The 320 milliliter measure of oil equals 1 1/3 cups. Then combine the milk with the vanilla and vinegar and add to the previous mixture. 3. Lightly beat the eggs and add to the preparation, it is important that all the ingredients are well integrated in this step. Finally add the sugar and with this last ingredient, try to mix instead of beating. The dough should have a uniform and homogeneous appearance. 4. To complete the preparation of the cake, empty all the mixture into a mold, previously smeared with butter, and take to the oven preheated to 180º for about 30 minutes. To know if it is ready you can click the center with a toothpick. Once removed from the oven, let it sit for 15 minutes and remove it from the mold to cool. Now with our sponge cake ready, all that remains is to decorate it and for that we will continue with the preparation of the cover. For the filling and bathing of the chocolate cake we have to dissolve cocoa powder in the boiling water. Add the milk and cook over low heat, stirring constantly with a spoon until the mixture thickens and reaches the desired consistency. Add the butter. Remove and leave to use. Finally, for the complete assembly of the chocolate cake, the cake (already cold) is divided in two, the two parts are joined again with a layer of filling and everything is lightly covered with the remaining cream of the filling.
