Quite late story because I had just read it just now. But I think many are still unaware.
So I decided to share this for everyone.
It is indeed an exciting news for Canadian permanent residents and immigrants.

Well, C-6 basically shortens the amount of time for immigrants to be eligible to apply for Citizenship. Now, Immigrants including Permanent Residents need to have lived in Canada for 1,095 days, within a five-year period, to be eligible for citizenship from the previous 1,460 days within a six-year time period.
