So the friend I mentioned in a previous post has been consistently updating everyone on her brother's newly diagnosed AML Leukemia. I want to help. I've donated and will continue to donate to his fight against Leukemia. As a cancer survivor who wanted nothing more than to work and provide without having to rely on strangers for financial help. I can tell you this means the world to people like that. It's a silent gift that boosts their spirits and helps them fight through.
You can become a hero by giving and in a small way, cure cancer, if only for one person. At the very least you ease that suffering just a bit, just for a moment and give a rare glimpse of hope not only for their condition, but in the condition of humanity as a whole.
When people donated to me, I knew that meant a lot and it was easier for some vs. others, but all were held in the highest regard as I continued treatment. This is the small kindness we can all do. One on one. Donating to causes are great, but when you know it's going to one specific person in need at that moment and not lining the pocket of some overpaid director or CEO of a "non-profit" that's doing nothing but moving advertising dollars around so they can maintain the business of cancer, it makes a difference.
Please feel free to donate here, Place a note that says "For Wells". I'll be sending out a bi-weekly payment on anything that has come in. You can also donate via STEEM/SBD with the same memo note "For Wells" and I'll convert that and send it forward.
