Many years ago, perhaps thousands even as the records are a bit spotty in Candyland there was an empire that spanned most of the Western and southern lands, and stretched for thousands of miles all over the Candyworld, the great Gumball it was called. They held the great secret of making gumballs, as the world of candy had not solved the great scientific problem of how to wrap a hard candy around something inside, whether chocolate, or in this case, gum itself. In their home lands they had many trees that they used to create the gum and when they discovered the secret of hard candy alchemy, they began to take over all of the smaller kingdoms around them, but legends say, they never waged a single war. Because gumballs were such an amazing invention and everyone who tried them wanted more, people willingly joined the great peaceful Gumball. What an incredible history Candyland has.
