I remember many many years ago when I first began to visit the wondrous land of Candy very distinctly. I have a very vivid memory of a wild festival in one of the towns that was called Pie Flailing where they would all, every family, bake a pie to bring to the town square. You would stand in groups based on your choice of pie like chocolate cream, apple and so on and then everyone would grab handfuls of theirs pies, hold their hands open towards the sky and begin to flail about. Anything that landed in your mouth was free game and many people would try and rush towards the group with their favorite pies and enjoy their favorites. I do not remember why they had this day but it was an incredible thing to experience as the people were so happy so joyous that you couldn't help but laugh and join in.
