Hello, steemians! Welcome to my page, eh!
This is just an update post on my growing efforts with my two cannabis plants. If you've been following along with my series of posts about growing a couple of cannabis plants, then you will know that I have a Cannatonic plant that lives in the greenhouse due to it's ability to stink up the house, and a Blue Dream plant that lives under my grow light in the house.
While I was working on my tomato plants in the greenhouse yesterday, I also decided to put the Cannatonic plant into a larger pot. Then I decided to nip the tops off of all the side branches to keep the plant short and try to promote the growth of more side branches. It was looking a bit less than perky after I was done.
I use potting soil by Fox Farm for these plants, I get it from the local hydroponics store. This soil isn't cheap, but it's organic and has all the good soil biology in it.
Here's the plant today, it seems to have recovered nicely from being transplanted and pruned.
My indoor Blue Dream plant continues to grow well. It has reached the point of being tall enough that I can't raise the light any higher for it in the space where I'm keeping it. I'm going to have to figure out something to solve that problem pretty soon, it's growing right up into the light now.
Here's a look at the plant without the light over it. The lower side branches have really been reaching for the light.
I need to figure out a solution to the lighting situation pretty soon because the plant is going to keep on growing.
That's all I have for this cannabis update, I hope you found it interesting!
