Hi Steemians!! Hope everyone is having a nice Monday. Over here in the states it's a holiday, so had the day off and got a little garden work done today.
Today I took advantage of a day off to get some plants transplanted. Which at first the plan was to get my Steem Og into flower. Ended up being something else completely. Which it usually how it goes down. For instance some days the only plan is to water my garden, but a simple watering turns into a 3 hour job! Which 1 hour of that time is the photo shoot I have to do for my Steem post!
Ok you got me, more like 2 1/2 hour photo shoot for my steem post!
For those that have been following me, they would know im strictly growing personal over here in the heart of California. Im surrounded by greenhouses full of a plants. The kind of plants the federal government considers illegal. Even my small ass grow, in comparison to the 10 acres of greenhouses just in a 10 mile radius of where I live, its considered illegal.
But those roots wont stop!!
So I got two Steem Og moved into my other room which is usually used as a flower room. But since I have no plants in flower, I though to keep the two Steem in veg.
Instead of just throwing one Steem into flower, I thought it would be best to move both of them. This way I can let the other one catch up to take cuttings, and flip them at the same exact time. This way I can monitor the two and decide if there actually two different pheno types. So now the Steem Og will be on a 18/6 light schedule. 18 hours of light and 6 hours of dark.
Now I had room to transplant two Pineapple Chunks into 3 gallon pots.
Also 2 Santa Rita #2, and 3 Santa Rita # 3.
Which as you can tell, these Pineapple Chunks from needed a transplant. Which btw a good transplant is something us growers only know the feeling. Its like taking a shower after a week in the woods!
This Pineapple Chunk is very short and bushy. The smell when you rub the middle top is almost like a cilantro smell. Nothing very strong, but it is noticeable.
Alright, got another full room. I think after another week i'll through these Pineapples into flower. Which for me a plant is ready to flower as soon as I got a good cutting. Cause if I know the plant will continue, I have no fear of it not surviving. Perhaps maybe that's the secret to my success? Ill let you be the judge.....
